After scavenging through many of the open source forum management scripts for about 2 years, I’ve finally concluded that MyBB is the easiest to use and manage. To me, MyBB is currently the best alternative to the USD$160.00 vBulletin scripts.Not many webmasters know about MyBB as compared to phpBB. One reason which I could think of is that phpBB is included in most cPanel based hosting servers with Fantastico. Well, it is time someone should help package MyBB into Fantastico.

Here are some myBB’s 1.2.x features which I extracted from MyBB’s website.

Security
