Official Message from Sitemeter about IE error

The following is the official explanation from Sitemeter with regards to a compatibility issue which causes yesterday’s Internet Explorer error worldwide.
As of now, I won’t be reinstating the counter on my websites. I’m happy with Google Analytics and Awstats.

Solved! IE Operation Aborted error when viewing website!

The new migration to new codes/platform by sitemeter has caused inconvenience to users using Internet Explorer when they are browsing websites which uses Sitemeter as their counter. They got the error “Operation Aborted” when viewing these websites.
