How does Google fight SPAM?

Spam, aka, unwanted interuption to our daily mail box, has infact become a part of our daily routine. How many of you will at least scan through your SPAM box, 2 times a day? Once in the morning, and one time before you retired to rest.
I’m like many of you who hates spam. Be a proactive user and help fight spam. Whenever a spam reaches to your inbox instead of SPAM Hell, report it in. You could have save millions of seconds for millions of people.
